0Gravity Launches New Coding Club in Chicago, Illinois, this fall

We are excited to formally announce the Fall 2019 U.S. 0Gravity Launch. This fall, we will be partnering with Saggezza and Ryan Banks Academy (https://www.ryanbanksacademy.org) to teach at-risks youths the fun of coding! Ryan Banks Academy is in its second year of operations, with the goal of becoming the first tuition-free boarding school in Chicago.

The sessions will take place Friday afternoons from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at 6620 S Martin Luther King Dr Chicago, IL 60637. The group of children are local at-risks youths, between the ages of 13 and 15 years old. There will be at least 3-4 volunteers, who each have years of full time work experience in the industry, per session. The children to volunteer ratio will be maintained at 4:1.  The volunteers will facilitate the sessions and answer any technical questions the children may have.

We will also be hosting brief training sessions on the material for all volunteers to make sure they are prepared.

We are looking forward to an engaging and productive workshop for 3 months with the children.
